Goat Kofta Kabobs (kebabs) Recipe

Succulent ground goat kabobs, perfect with white rice, or a green salad.

  • 1 pound ground goat meat
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sumac powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • teaspoon ground cloves
  • teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup white onion minced
  • 1 medium cayenne pepper minced (optional)


  • Mix ground goat meat with spices. Add in the minced onion and cayenne pepper. Run the meat through a meat grinder.
  • Allow the meat to marinate in the refrigerator at least a few hours, or overnight. Form the meat over four flat kabob skewers.
  • Grill the goat kabobs until cooked to your liking, turning only once. Do not overcook.
