Add sumac, parsley, oregano, rosemary, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cinnamon, black pepper, Aleppo pepper, and cumin to a bowl.
Whisk ingrdients until thoroughly combined. Store in a mason jar or airtight container.
Notes
We chose to omit salt because this seasoning can be used in conjunction with a wide variety of recipes, many of which already call for salt. You can add it directly to the blend if you wish, but leaving it out allows for greater control when seasoning other dishes.
Rather than a single batch, you can make this Mediterranean spice mix in bulk if you plan to use it often!
This all-purpose seasoning can be used in countless ways, so feel free to experiment.
You can grind the spices using a spice mill or food processor if you want the texture to be finer.
When possible, use fresh, quality ingredients.
Store Mediterranean seasoning in an airtight container in the pantry or a cool, dark place for up to 1 year.
You can freeze this spice blend to keep it fresh even longer.
