Heat the air fryer to 390 degrees F. Rinse frozen wings to remove any frost and pat dry. Add wings to the air fryer basket and air fry for 15 minutes.
Separate the wings then generously season them on both sides with shawarma seasoning.
Air fry the wings in a single layer for 8 minutes then flip and air fry for an additional 7 minutes or until the wings are golden and crispy. Garnish with chopped Italian parsley, scallions, or cilantro and your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
If you are worried about the chicken wings sticking to the tray, you can spray the tray with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray. I've tried it both ways and didn't notice much of a difference.
If you'd like, you can spray the wings with a light coating of oil before you season them.
While the chicken wings are crisping, prepare the shawarma yogurt sauce or your favorite wing sauce.
Use a meat thermometer to make sure the internal temperature is at least 165°F.
Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Depending on the number of wings and the size of your air fryer, you may need to air fry the wings in a few batches.
If the wings are frozen in a larger clump, too big to fit in your air fryer, simply run them under cold water until you can break the clump in half.
If you want saucy chicken wings, you can toss them with the sauce once they're done cooking.
