This sauce can be enjoyed with much more than salad, such as chicken, blackened fish tacos, flatbreads, chips, fries, dill pickle pizza, sandwiches, and more! This recipe yields enough for you to try it in many different ways.

- Dill: I prefer to use 3 tablespoon fresh dill, but you can use 3 teaspoon dried dill instead.
- Sour cream & mayo: May substitute plain Greek yogurt for a healthier dressing.
- More fresh herbs: I like to add fresh chives, but fresh parsley would be another great addition.
- Shallot: Can be substituted with onion, onion powder, or dried onion flakes.
- Garlic: Fresh is best, but minced or garlic powder can be substituted.
- Mustard powder: Stone-ground mustard or Dijon mustard can be used instead.
- Lemon juice: Fresh lemon juice or bottled are both fine. A little white vinegar could also work.
🌿 How To Make Dill Dressing
Step 1: Add sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped fresh dill and chives, minced garlic, shallot, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper to a small bowl. Whisk until combined.
Step 2 (optional): Add ¼ cup water to thin out the dressing before drizzling over a salad, fish, etc.
