๐ What You Need For This Recipe
๐ Ingredients & Substitutions
- Chicken: I like to use rotisserie chicken breast
- Lettuce: I think butter lettuce works best for sandwiches but feel free to sub it with your preferred leafy greens such as iceberg lettuce, arugula, spinach, etc.
- Buratta: I recommend using the 2 oz "mini" buratta balls you can find at most grocery stores. Alternatively, you can use goat cheese, gouda, havarti, swiss, or fresh mozzarella.
- Balsamic glaze: If you can't find it pre-made, you can make your own balsamic glaze at home.

๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ Recipe FAQs
When making a sandwich, carefully slice the croissant in half lengthwise (along the "equator") with a bread knife. Try not to apply too much pressure to the top of the croissant to keep it light and fluffy.
If you want to toast your croissant, you can slice it in half and then toast it in a lightly buttered pan or skillet over medium heat until the bottom is golden brown.
๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ณ Pro Tips

- You can heat the croissant before making this sandwich, either in the microwave or by toasting it in a lightly buttered pan over the stove.
