    🧐 Why This Recipe Works

This 5-Ingredient Sriracha Aioli Recipe doesn't require any prep time. In fact, it takes around two minutes to prepare from start to finish.

The aioli is not overly spicy which means it can be enjoyed by the whole family! However, if there is someone in the family who wants to make it spicier, they can add more Sriracha to their portion.

This recipe only makes enough Sriracha Aoili for a few servings. Of course, you can prepare a double batch and store the leftover sauce in the fridge for up to a week.

Additionally, Sriracha Aioli is a vegetarian recipe! It can be easily modified to a vegan recipe by simply using vegan mayo instead of regular mayonnaise.

    🔖 Recipe Ingredients and Substitutions

    • Mayonnaise — Best Foods/Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise is a great option. Hellmann's even makes a vegan mayo if you want to make Vegan Sriracha Aioli.
    • Sriracha Chili Sauce — Sriracha Sauce is a spicy condiment made with chili peppers, sugar, salt, garlic, acetic acid, and other preservatives. Since it's one of the main ingredients in this recipe, I wouldn't recommend substituting it with another hot sauce.
    • Lime Juice — The lime adds acidity to the sauce and adds a hint of citrusy flavor. If you don't have limes, substitute an equal amount of lemon juice.
    • Extra Spice — If you find that the aioli is not as spicy as you'd like, add more Sriracha sauce or ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper.

    🫙How to Make Sriracha Aioli

STEP 1: Whisk mayonnaise, Sriracha chili sauce, lime juice, crushed garlic, and sea salt in a small bowl.

STEP 2: Taste and adjust with more Sriracha or salt, if needed. To make the Sriracha Aioli spicier, add ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper.

Use Sriracha Aioli right away or store it in an airtight container or condiment bottle in the refrigerator for up to a week.

    🍽 Serving Suggestions

Sriracha aioli goes great with so many dishes! I like to serve it with Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, these yummy Copycat Chili's Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadillas, and Tri-Tip Sliders!

Sriracha aioli is also excellent with  Juicy Gourmet Elk Burgers, chicken strips, crab cakes, or crispy potato wedges!

    🤷🏻‍♀️ Recipe FAQs

What is Sriracha Mayo made of?

Sriracha Mayo is made with mayonnaise, Sriracha hot sauce, extra virgin olive oil, lime juice, and salt. Depending on the recipe, sometimes fresh or powdered garlic, cayenne pepper, and black pepper are included.

What can I put Sriracha Aioli on?

Sriracha Aioli can be used as a spicy dipping sauce with veggies, fries, breaded shrimp, and Lumpia. It can also be used as a condiment with fish tacos or fish burritos.

What Does Sriracha Aioli Taste Like?

Sriracha Aioli is a perfect blend of flavors. It's slightly spicy, a bit tangy, and garlicky. It also has a hint of sweetness from the sugar in the Sriracha sauce. If you can't handle overly-spicy sauces, Sriracha Aioli might be for you!

    👩🏼‍🍳 Pro Tips

    • Sriracha Aioli can also be prepared in a small food processor. Just add all the ingredients to the food processor bowl and whirl until the ingredients are blended and creamy.
    • If you are sensitive to spicy flavors, add 1 tablespoon of Sriracha to the mayo at a time, tasting after each addition until satisfied.
    • The sauce can also be thinned and used as a salad dressing, especially in coleslaw and also in Japanese Spicy Kani Salad.
